First Post -- I'm off!

Apparently it's about time I had a blog, instead of emailing everyone I know about things I've found in other peoples'.  As you probably know… I'm off to Vancouver (via San Francisco) for 3 months, leaving tomorrow.  I will endeavour to keep this blog up to date with pictures and anything interesting that happens to me.  Let's see what happens though. In case I do join the millions of people who sign up for a blog and never touch it again (median number of tweets per account: one), as my first post I give you these: Where the hell is Matt.
